IV. Magnificent Masterpiece Horimono (Buddhist Engraving)

As praised by Dr. Sato Kanzan and captured in the close-up macro photography, this blade possesses an extraordinary, deeply chiseled Horimono (刀身彫刻) representing Fudo Myoo (Acala, the Buddhist Demon-Slayer Deity). This sacred motif was hand-carved exclusively on custom, elite high-rank orders to imbue the samurai wielder with divine protection and psychological dominance on the battlefield. The crispness of the relief carving indicates that the blade surface remains in absolute pristine condition with zero over-polishing across centuries.

V. [ Returns Policy ]

            Strictly No Returns Accepted

We do not accept returns. This is because the export and customs re-entry procedures for authentic Japanese swords are extremely complicated, making international returns practically impossible. Given the high price and historical asset value, please make your purchase decision carefully and responsibly.

VI. [ Note on Official Export Processing Time ]

• Cultural Affairs Procedure: After your purchase, we will legally file an official export application with the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs (文化庁). It takes exactly 25 business days for the export certificate to be issued, after which we will immediately start the physical process of shipping the goods.

[ Shipping & Export Process ]

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE TO INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:

To legally export an authentic samurai sword from Japan, we must apply for an export permit from the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs (Bunkacho). This official legal process takes approximately 2 to 4 weeks after payment is cleared. We will ship the item immediately via insured EMS or FedEx once the permit is granted. A tracking number will be provided.

Please verify that importing authentic weapons/swords is fully legal in your country before bidding. Import duties, taxes, and custom charges are not included in the item price and are the buyer's responsibility.

[ IMPORTANT NOTE FOR EXPORT PROCESS ]
Export of Japanese swords requires mandatory official permission from the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs. After your purchase, we will immediately file the export application. It typically takes 25 business days for the permit certificate to be issued, after which we will promptly start the shipping process. Therefore, please expect around 30 business days in total from the time of order until the goods are delivered to your hands. Please be fully aware of this legal timeline before making your purchase. Thank you for your understanding.

        [ DELIVERY & SHIPPING METHOD ]
The item will be sent via EMS (Express Mail Service). If airmail service is available in your country/area, it usually takes 5 to 10 days to reach your local customs once shipped. Depending on your destination and customs clearance speed, it may take longer.

Crucial Air Cargo Restriction: When shipping from Japan overseas, certain airlines may not accept swords as luggage or cargo. Acceptance depends entirely on your country's current regulations, so please contact us via message to check availability before making a purchase.

If airmail shipping is strictly rejected by the carrier, we will switch and send the item by Sea Freight. In that case, please understand it will take approximately 2 to 3 months from the shipping arrangement to final arrival.

Some companies choose illegal or loophole means to deliver packages quickly. However, we strictly abide by Japanese and international laws to ship authentic swords in a completely reliable, transparent, and safe manner. As a result, forced sea shipping may sometimes occur due to airline safety rules. We highly appreciate your cooperation in respecting these legal regulations.

This sword is officially registered in Japan under the Juho-Token-Rui-Torokusho (Registration No. Niigata 073979).
All shipping and export operations will comply perfectly with the Japanese Cultural Properties Protection Law.
